On 31st october Jakaya Kikwete was re-elected as the President of Tanzania with the 61% of votes. The other candidates collected less votes: Wilbrod Slaa got only 26% and contested irregularity in the votes' count, that took an entire week. All was pacific in Zanzibar, where voting was regular.
